By: Lewis Howes
I like this video because it brings together two people well known in the podcast space both of whom are New York Times best selling authors. Lewis Howes is the owner of a very successful online media company including his wildly popular “The School of Greatness Podcast”. Similarly, Jonathan Fields is the executive producer of “The Good Life Project Podcast” (with over 1,000,000 downloads per month), founder of a number of wellness companies, workshop and retreat leader. These men are so dynamic, you will feel their positive vibes radiating from the screen when you watch this video.
The interview is essentially about Fields’ book “How to Live a Good Life”. Fields talks about his journey to arrive at a place where he felt qualified to write about living a good life plus, in researching the book, he sought out teachers who embodied elements of living a good life and learned from them. Fields’ prescriptions for living well involves filling three buckets; connection, vitality and contribution. Connection means finding belonging and being part of a community. Vitality refers to the state of our body and mind and contribution to how one brings one’s gifts to the world. Fields books is a practical guide to filling theses buckets and an enjoyable read.
